Until You Know!

About Until You Know

I was a Baptist pastor from 2007 through 2023. As a young pastor I struggled to answer questions that others, both in the church and out, would ask me. Being raised in a small Baptist church that was part of a small association, I had been in a theological echo chamber. The answers to the questions were not to be found within that echo chamber. That is not for a lack of desire, or even faithfulness. But, when for generations the congregations had been warned of the dangers of “seminary preachers,” we had become ignorant to many of the answers, if for no other reason than we didn’t even know the questions!

Seeing the struggles the younger generation was having in school, and society in general, I knew that unless we could answer their questions in a way that was more substantial than “have faith,” we would lose the next generation and the one after that. This lead me to some serious study of what I came to learn as apologetics. After a few years on my own, I enrolled in a M.A. in Philosophy at Southern Evangelical Seminary.

I completed my M.A. in the Spring of 2026. And by this time I had found my way into the Anglican communion. So, as you read through my posts you will find some written as a Baptist and others written as an Anglican. I don’t see any reason for taking down my earlier words, as they may be helpful to you regardless of where this journey continues to take me.

This site is a place for me to share what I am learning along that way, so in following these posts you get to follow along where this road leads me. God Bless!
